Dr. Mike brings a wealth of international and specialized expertise to pediatric dentistry. He earned his initial dental degree from Damascus University, Syria, in 2011. Demonstrating exceptional academic achievement, he then completed a second dental degree at Temple University School of Dentistry in 2018, graduating summa cum laude and receiving multiple prestigious awards. Dr. Mike further specialized his training through a pediatric dental residency at Rutgers University Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. This experience provided him with extensive expertise in hospital-based care and the management of patients with complex medical histories. Dr. Mike is a board-certified pediatric dentist, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Community Outreach and Volunteer Work
Dr. Mike's commitment to service extends beyond his dental practice. Prior to his move to the United States, he served as a volunteer EMT with the Syrian Red Cross for nearly four years, demonstrating unwavering dedication to emergency medical care. Upon arriving in the US, he continued his humanitarian efforts as a Red Cross fire responder, providing critical logistical support to fire victims. While at Temple University, Dr. Mike's passion for serving underserved communities led him to join an organization providing dental care in Peru. His exceptional involvement resulted in his election to the executive committee, where he served for three years. He further contributed through two volunteer missions with the Growing Smiles Foundation in Peru, providing essential dental care to dozens of patients. These experiences remain profoundly meaningful to him, highlighting his lifelong dedication to improving the lives of others.
